At Avida we want our customers to feel safe when using our products and services. Therefore, we have implemented routines and controls to protect our customers, our business, and our society against financial crime. These topics are of utmost importance to us and we are working actively to ensure that we have a sustainable society free from crimes.
Avida is a credit market company and together with other financial institutions and banks obliged to comply with the the law around anti-money laundry and terror financing. This means that we have an obligation to ensure relevant and updated customer information, which includes but is not limited to: transactions, activities, deposits and transfers etc.
Avida is required to have documented customer information for all our customers, both new and existing ones. This means that we must ask certain questions when you apply for one of our products or services, but we may also ask you certain questions during your time with us. Some of the questions that we may ask includes questions about your occupation, income, residential tax information and financial activities and transactions. We may also ask for information about the purpose of certain transactions or the source of payments and funds. The questions we ask may vary over time and depend on the product or service you are currently using. We do not ask these questions because we may suspect misconduct or criminal activities so we are very grateful for your patience, understanding and your help in preventing financial crime.
